Insurance for teachers and student teachers is provided through Yoga Scotland by
Royal & Sun Alliance as part of the teaching membership package. The insurance broker
is Perkins-
Insurance is offered to all teachers provided they meet Continuous Professional Development requirements.
This policy is annually renewable. Insurance is for the period 1st October for one year and members are invited to renew their membership in September. Teachers or students who have not renewed their membership by the end of September will no longer be covered by the insurance.
If you are required to supply proof of insurance cover, please email Kirsty for a personalised cover note. This should be presented along with your current Yoga Scotland membership card, which states that you are a current teaching member and are therefore covered by the Yoga Scotland Insurance Policy.

The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) is a charity which is owned by Skillsactive
the Sector Skills Council and has been set up to help safeguard and promote the health
and interests of people who are using the services of exercise and fitness instructors,
