This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified teachers to apply for the position of Hatha tutor for the 2017-19 Glasgow Teacher Training Course.

If you have excellent presentation skills and a range of teaching experience, this could be the role for you.  Strong team working skills and an active interest in contributing to the development of the course are essential.

Applicants must be qualified and registered yoga teachers with at least 8 years experience of teaching yoga.

Fees are paid per course weekend with additional fees for marking student assignments.   Travel expenses can be claimed in line with Yoga Scotland’s expenses guidelines.

Vacancy – Freelance Training Administrator

If you have strong administrative skills and are available to work from home 5-15 hours a week, this could be the job for you.

Yoga Scotland is inviting applications for a part-time, freelance training administrator to join its small, dedicated support team for an initial 6-month period.

The main responsibility is to work with the training coordinator to support the professional delivery of existing Yoga Scotland training courses.

The successful applicant will have strong administrative skills, good attention to detail and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of people.  You will need the necessary facilities to work from home – computer, email, printer, scanner and telephone.

Remuneration is £10 per hour up to a maximum of £600 per month.

Co-Tutor Aberdeen Foundation Course

Yoga Scotland is inviting applications from suitably qualified teachers to co-tutor the Foundation Course in Aberdeen.

The 2016-17 Foundation Course runs over 10 Saturdays from August 2016 to May 2017.  The successful applicant will join Sandra Cook as Co-Tutor for the course.

You will have excellent communication and presentation skills and experience of planning and managing weekly classes and seminars.  Strong team working skills and an active interest in contributing to the development of the course is essential.

Applicants must be qualified and registered yoga teachers with at least 5 years experience of teaching yoga.

Remuneration is £236.90 per course day (currently under review).   Travel expenses can be claimed in line with Yoga Scotland’s expenses guidelines.

Yoga Scotland members can now download their free ticket for the OM Yoga sShow in the SECC, Glasgow on 2nd and 3rd April 2016.

Just click on this link: http://www.omyogashow.com/yogascotland/  and complete the form, after which you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to
download the ticket.

The ticket will need to be printed off and brought along to the show, and is valid for one day, either Saturday 2nd or Sunday 3rd April.

There’s also a space on the form to request show guides for teachers who might want to share amongst their students.
