Prana Kriya Yoga is a very powerful system which harmonizes and unites the flow of physical movement of the body (kriya) with its energetic potential (prana) helping you to become more aware of your spiritual nature. It is a highly energizing, cleansing and, at the same time, relaxing practice which has been considered by great masters of yoga to slow down the ageing process. It does this by recharging the blood with oxygen and decarbonizing it, thereby rejuvenating the brain and spinal centres and preventing the decay of tissues in the body. It also helps to awaken the kundalini shakti energy. The practice emphasizes the breath, kumbhaka (breath retention), bandhas (locks), drishti (gazing points), mudras (gestures), mantras, meditation and chakras.
In this workshop we will go through a sequence of kriyas to allow us to explore some of the key techniques to work with which will help draw you into an equally energized and peaceful state of existence. It is guaranteed you will go home feeling new blissful sensations which will stay with you all day and encourage you to continue the journey of self-exploration.
Cameron MacInnes is a highly-qualified International Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master from Scotland who is passionate about helping others experience deep personal transformation through yoga and energy healing.
His journey in the Eastern arts began during a challenging period in which he suffered from debilitating back pain, amongst other problems, and was able to cure himself through his practices.
Cameron spends months each year studying and practising in India and has been fortunate to learn from several wonderful teachers there including his guruji Yogi Ashokananda, as well as Vinay Kumar, Ty Landrum, David Robson and Mark Robberds. He has also been inspired by his father Donald MacInnes who is a Reiki and Qigong Master and 8th Dan in Shotokan Karate.
Currently, his time is spent teaching yoga and energy healing between Spain, Scotland, Jordan and India to individuals, groups, athletes, international organizations, embassies and UN agencies. He also trains yoga teachers on teacher training programmes.
Predominantly, Cameron teaches Prana Kriya Yoga, Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Yoga Therapy and Reiki in the form of regular classes, workshops and retreats. He is the only teacher in the world authorized to run Prana Kriya Yoga immersions and is the only authorized Prana Kriya Yoga teacher in Spain, Scotland and Jordan.
