This course is for all yoga teachers. You may have recently qualified or maybe you trained so long ago you can hardly remember! Regardless of how long your training took - a 500-hour course or something much shorter, if you teach yoga, this course is for you.
We will be a group of between 10 and 16 yoga teachers, led by course tutor Jackie Le Brocq. The course will provide a shared space and supportive environment for yoga teachers. We will concentrate on bringing together the collective energy, awareness and focus of the group, with the intention of taking personal practice and teaching to the next level. We will aim, as teachers to better interpret and convey the deeper meaning of yoga to students, to serve, inspire and enthuse.
Topics will include:
Practice, the fundamentals and essentials.
Yogic lifestyle and wellness
Wisdom from the classic yoga texts
Advanced studies in teaching methods
Advanced applications of yoga for mental and physical well-being
Practical applications of yoga wisdom and subtle body anatomy in class teaching
There will also be the opportunity to explore other topics that come up during the course.
The next Yogic Living and Teaching Course starts in October 2019.
